How important is BMI?? (Body Mass Index)

I am sorry to post this right before summer officially starts...but our BMI (Body Mass Index) is something that we all have to watch. Most women, who are qualified in every other way, are turned down to become surrogate carriers/mothers because of their BMI being over 30. (and in some cases under 18). Please click on the link below to calculate your BMI. You might be surprised at the number that pops up!
BMI Categories:
Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
Overweight = 25-29.9
Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater
