Men Having Babies: annual NYC seminar
Center Kids, the family program of the NYC LGBT Center, is holding its fifth annual Men Having Babies program on Saturday, September 12 . It will feature expert and personal advice, and an opportunity to make contact with a wide range of organizations who help gay men become parents biologically. Dozens of gay men attend every year, and the event is also a great opportunity to socialize and meet other couples or single dads-to-be with our new colored-coded name tags!
Agenda:
* An overview of the surrogacy and egg donation process by a panel of legal and medical experts (1:00 - 2:00 PM).
* Short presentations by agencies and organizations who provide services and support for gay men who want to have babies (2:00 - 2:30 PM).
* Personal stories from NY gay parents, a surrogate and an egg donor (2:30 - 3:30 PM).
* Exhibit space and socializing (including a lounge for single dads-to-be) (3:30- 5:00 PM).
