I arrived in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina today on Shwayze and Cisco Adler’s bus rather on the Party Rock bus. While I missed our bus, which has really become home over the past month and a half, it was an interesting change of scenery. They were engaging in a game called “Robitussin Freestyle”, which basically consisted of everyone going around in a circle, rapping while chugging the CVS brand, known simply as “Tussin.”
Today, Bikini Girl, DJ Air, Q and I caught a cab to our hotel. “You’re with LM...Fro? How do you pronounce that?” the cabbie asked.
When we got to the hotel, Air and Q tried figuring out whose name the room was under. “Try Q’s last name,” Air said. “It’s Q-u....f-a-g.”
Tonight’s show was at the House of Blues. It was a good one--a refreshing improvement from last night’s sound/monitor crisis. The place was packed and there were a lot of interesting characters--among them a boy that was approximately 12-years-old, who came onstage for “Yes”, and a girl rocking a big fro wig, who later tore it off and came up for “I Don’t Wanna Be.”
